Co-Founder of the NBA’s Orlando Magic to Present Leadership Seminar at Chamber’s Expoventure 2007, Presented by Fidelity Bank

10:30 p.m. - Noon, Thursday, Sept. 20, Century II Concert Hall

Wichita, KS – The Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce welcomes Pat Williams, senior vice president of the NBA’s Orlando Magic, to Expoventure 2007, A Wichita Business Show, presented by Fidelity Bank. Pat will present "The Seven Keys to Leadership in the 21st Century,” from 10:30 a.m. – Noon at Century II Concert Hall. Cost is $25.

As one of America’s top motivational speakers, Pat has addressed employees from many of the Fortune 500 companies.

Pat became a pro sports general manager at age 24—the youngest in history. He has been affiliated with NBA teams in Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia—including the 1983 World Champion 76ers—and now the Orlando Magic which he co-founded in 1987 and helped lead to the NBA finals in 1995. Pat has been able to meld great talents—Dr. J and Moses Malone, Charles Barkley and Maurice Cheeks, Shaquille O’Neal and “Penny” Hardaway—into championship teams.

In 1996, Pat was named as one of the 50 most influential people in NBA history by Beckett Sports, a national publication. He is also one of two sports executives in history to serve as general manager of four different franchises.

Pat is the author of 44 books on a wide range of subjects, and his books have been translated into most of the world’s major languages. And if that wasn’t enough, Pat and his wife, Ruth, are the parents of 19 children, including 14 adopted from four foreign countries.
